We've been doing rainforests as our topic. The P5s, P6s and P7s have been learning about the layers of the rainforest, where they are, the biggest one and connecting this learning to literacy and art. We collected leaves and twigs from our school area to help build art collage pictures to show the forest floor right up to the emergent layer. Getting outside is always good fun too!
