Year groups moving up to a new class had a fun morning in their new class getting to know their teachers for next year.
Have a look at the pics of the soon to be P5s working with Mr Young and Mrs Rainey. We did a synonyms matching game and a letter from the Ultimate Alphabet challenge where pairs of children are given a picture and everything in the picture begins with a letter, in this case 'S'. There were 1559 things to find beginning with the letter S! The children did brilliantly showing good observation skills.
Games with movement and dance are essential to encourage focus and attention, plus they're fun!
We also chatted about class rules and rewards in preparation for next year.
