Nineteen enthusiastic pupils from P4 to P7 proudly represented our school at the Cross Country Competition held at Bawnacre, Irvinestown. It was a fantastic day filled with energy, determination, laughter and plenty of fun!
From the moment we arrived, excitement was in the air. The children enjoyed meeting pupils from other schools, exploring the course and encouraging one another before the races began. There were lots of smiles, cheers and memorable moments shared throughout the day. A true highlight was the support and positive vibes they shared with each other.
Our runners showed incredible effort and determination as they tackled the challenging course. Every pupil gave their very best, demonstrating resilience, perseverance and a positive attitude from start to finish. We were delighted to celebrate a number of excellent individual performances and strong race results across the various age groups. A special mention to Ada for her wonderful achievement!
However, the successes of the day went far beyond the finishing line. The children were a credit to our school, displaying outstanding behaviour, excellent sportsmanship and kindness throughout the event. They supported one another, celebrated each other’s achievements and represented our school with pride.
Of course, there was also plenty of fun and laughter along the way! Whether warming up before races, sharing stories after crossing the finish line or cheering on teammates, the children created wonderful memories together.
We are extremely proud of all 19 pupils who took part. Their effort, enthusiasm and positive attitude made the day a tremendous success. Well done to every runner—you were fantastic ambassadors for our school!
