What a wonderful day out for all the children of Brookeborough Primary School at Colebrooke Estate!
The pupils enjoyed an exciting and educational visit, exploring the beautiful gardens, meeting the animals and learning all about the estate from Dougal the Gardener. His fascinating insights into what is grown on the estate, its rich history, and how the produce is used captivated the children’s attention throughout the day.
After working up an appetite with their activities, everyone enjoyed a delicious picnic before taking some time to relax and unwind with a spot of reading in the peaceful surroundings of the gardens. A fantastic day of learning, exploration, and fun was had by all!
